Under the auspices of the Association for Be’er Sheva and the Negev, which has set forth to promote social and communal initiatives, a unique educational program has recently been established, aimed at assisting elementary school students grappling with difficulties in core subjects. Within the framework of this educational endeavor, founded in recent times, students from underprivileged families are granted individualized instruction in fundamental subjects such as mathematics and Hebrew language, tailored to their personal needs. These lessons are provided without monetary compensation, twice a week.

The Academy was established during the “Iron Swords” war and is dedicated to the memory of Moshe Ochayon and his son Elad, heroic residents of Ofakim who sacrificed their lives saving others during the October 7th conflict.
